German History Shepherd
The german history shepherd can be obtained from an experienced kennel owner or rescue.
The GSD is a versatile working dog, capable to perform a wide variety of tasks. The dogs were used in many ways throughout their evolution; thus they were: police dogs, guide dogs, search and rescue dogs, bomb and drug detection dogs, sheep and cattle herders, hunting companions, guard dogs, obedience champions, avalanche rescue dogs, assistance dogs, show dogs, and more. In spite of their special role, the dogs are excellent companions provided they receive the attention, training, and exercise they need and feel useful. The dog should never be left alone without training and exercises otherwise it will use the same wonderful traits to amuse himself, much to the chagrin of his owner.

German History Shepherd -
kennel, rescue
These dogs often become difficult to manage for novice and incompetent owners who are usually too permissive or very strict. The earlier you start socializing and training a pup, the better. Being very intelligent, this breed is a challenge in terms of training and enjoys rigorous exercise combined with mental stimulation. Positive motivation works best with these dogs. These large and active dogs are suited for both outdoor and indoor living. When kept indoors, these dogs should be walked for several hours a day.
